I'm sure it's real, but I'm also sure it's a price for gas at an out of the way station where the gas truck has to charge a lot more to deliver the fuel. Out of the way mountain towns, or places like Death Valley might have huge prices like that....

They have 8x 16 fluid oz. pints to a gallon. I once thought there was a connection between 16oz. & 16 fl.oz., but apparently not.

Right now, outside the gate where I live in Walnut Creek, CA premium gas at a Chevron station is $5.09 a gallon. Disgusting.

So, I live in sunny California, and this morning had a copious amount of gas. The price? No one spoke to, or came near me for two hours! (and no, I am not blaming any government official).
