Yesterday I took the camera on the dog walk. We went to the lake to see if any migrants were there because hooded mergansers have been spotted in Farmington Bay just north of us. No joy, just the resident group enjoying a sunny day.

The flowers are ending their summer run and autumn is showing in the wild grasses.

Nice set, Mike. The migrants haven't arrived down here yet, either. I did see one group of Specklebelly (White-Fronted) geese on an outing yesterday. Couldn't manage a decent image, though. They were too far away.
