Look at what he has posted. Her address, revealed all her apparent personal traumatic experiences including rape as soon as he needs a bit more sympathetic oomph. Using every trick to trigger your emotions to get free gear. Someone with PTSD apparently doesn’t mind all this information being revealed publicly along with her address on a public internet forum. This guy is clearly a total scam.

There are genuine charities to donate your gear too and for people in genuine need to get themselves gear.

The organizations may not offer this type of help, but that doesn't mean individual members wouldn't help. Going to one of their meetings and pleading her case may bring some results. Having the disabled Vet go with you would probably bring quick help.

That makes more sense than asking for donations from strangers on a photo forum that you joined just to beg for a free camera. I'm curious, how many websites have you posted this on. If UHH is the only one, how did you chose it?

Maybe her landlord would donate her rent money to get her a camera. Oh wait, you are the landlord.

I am a disabled Vietnam Vet. I hate to think someone would use somebody else's disability, or a made up disability for personal gain.

I hope I'm wrong, but this tread seems like a scam to me.

Thank you. Yes, I appreciate everything Australian and US troops have done and sacrificed. His comments showed a complete lack of respect. He's an absolute scam not someone with any experience dealing with anyone who has ever experienced any type of conflict.

Sorry, yes you did. The cameras will be going straight on eBay or some other online auction site. There are genuine charities they could've been donated too. A genuine charity would also pass them on to people in real need not reject those people.

I found those names too.
Anyone can find and then claim those names for any given property. Questions is, is his real name Chris Taylor?

The point is, it's not the name that creates suspicion, it's everything else of which there is plenty of it in this thread.
