Comparing cell phone capture to Canon top-of-the-line DSLR capture

But, I found on that Hawaii trip there are some circumstances that require the longer reach of my 80-300 to get what I’m after, so I’ll still travel with my trusty Nikon.


I have no plans of giving up my trusty DSLRs. But it is nice to know that occasionally I can get a good shot with the phone.

I thought the first one was the cellphone. How did I guess correctly? I’ve had the same experience with my iPhone vs. one of my mirrorless cameras.
