These would be similar to CMC's find - on a rotting stump, but seem to be smaller than what he found.
I have been going out to walk in the woods for a while now with my camera, and have been on a fungi search for a while now. I'm always so amazed at Nature, and the many different variety of fungus. Some of it is so beautiful, and is like a small fairyland. Some even resemble under the sea. I'll be back soon with some of mine. I am not at my home, so I'm limited to my tablet, but I have my favorites in here.

I've never seen any thing like this particular mushroom sitting large (about the size of a football) and alone on top of the tree stump.
This is a great topic. I'm excited to see others from around the areas our members are from. I hear the UK has over 50,000 varieties.
In the Rocky River Reservation:
A couple of my favorite fungi: Indian Pipe and some sort of coral fungi.
A few from when I could still get down on the ground.
I still can I reckon, but getting up is the issue...
On the same tree stump I found these guys...
