An anti-vaccine woman was asked about her source of information for vaccination, she proudly stated various dubious sources such as some of the talking heads on certain programs as well as what she is hearing from her friends. When asked as to whether she chooses to believe sources that do not provide evidence for their proclamations, vague opinions, or sources that provide strong evidence, specifics on the pandemic, scientific research. She hemmed and hawed and just simply walked away, mumbling to herself (probably one of her main sources).

Society has the right to protect its members from decimation regardless of form or source. In the USA, the citizens ARE the government. This is how the country was made, by We, The People. This is History.

PS., The vaccine is an insurance, it is not the cause of the epidemic. I suggest you read up on viruses and how they function. Then some definitive information on the methods to control the debility from the virus. The facts are not hidden by "the gov't". The facts are hidden by the myopia of many who do not do the research.

Only Christian scientists have a religious basis for not getting vaccinated - but they can wear a mask. NO other religion has an exemption from vaccination. Using that as an excuse is simply a lie. And masks are public health measure - they protect everybody else but not the wearer. This is part of herd immunity.

This message applies to those weak minded individuals that are anti-vaxxers and insist on going around and spreading their infections. Your thoughts are ok, but, they are wrong. The facts told to me 2 weeks ago by our hospital administrator:1. 20 % of the Covid admissions are vaccinated people. All of those 20% are well enough to go home in a week or so without supplemental oxygen. 2. The other 80% have a significant death rate and many go home on oxygen and end up with permanent pulmonary disability. Those are the facts. I recommend the Moderna vaccine. It seems to last longer. If not available, I recommend the Phizer vaccine. If you are afraid of needles, stay home and don’t jeapardize the rest of us. Is it ok with you that only 1% of the people that catch it from you die. If you fire a rifle into a crowd of 100 and one dies, you are guilty of murder. I’m at the point of tiring of informing stupid people that don’t want to deal with the facts. Another word of advise: those that wear a mask that only covers their mouth are not masked. This virus lives in the nose. If a nurse tried that in the hospital,they would be escorted to the front door.

This is going on and on, I have to say it, what on earth is wrong with these anti vaccine /anti mask people getting all butt hurt for being asked to do the right thing, especially in light of verifiable facts and figures? I just can't comprehend their thinking, (or lack of). Did they not get enough attention when they were children?

Thank you for your comment, you do have a choice, you also have a responsibility. I get tired of hearing we have rights without hearing we also have responsibilities. When I was a kid, I remember a teacher telling us "Your rights end where my nose begin." I don't believe we should have rights that jeopardize another's life. Ya, I know, I will get crucified for saying that.

After reading the last 8 pages, it appears that everyone is in agreement that vaccination is the only way through this pandemic and that anyone who thinks differently is stupid, irresponsible, ignorant or misinformed. Does this include a sizable portion of medical workers or former Covid sufferers with natural immunity. It appears we are rapidly approaching Australia. Check it out.
