I don't think we're too close to the situation in Australia quite yet (thankfully). Former Covid sufferers who luckily /maybe, have developed a natural immunity, well I guess they maybe personally somewhat safe, but I don't believe that would stop them from being carrier's and continuing to infect others, (kind of a selfish asshole attitude if you ask me). As for the "sizable portion" of medical workers, care qualify that with a number or percentage? I suspect measured against the total number of medical workers in this country, the number would be pretty low, probably in line with the hold outs in the general population anyway. As a side note, I have a friend who is a surgeon in a very large Californian hospital. She's the chatty friendly type, and chats with her co-workers daily, from janitors to professors, and as of 15 minutes ago, (just spoke to her), she doesn't know, or know of a single person that she interacts with who is unvaccinated, or doesn't wear a mask (because of the job). So there it is, I personally will continue to believe that there's too many selfish people out there, perhaps trying to "make a point", maybe some enjoy the conflict and argument, and some just "banging the big drum" because they crave the attention, (thinking maybe mommy didn't give them enough time when they were children)? Anyhoo, nuff said, have a great day and (try to) stay safe.

Is it necessary to advance your cause by diminisning others. The source of a lot of the information available about alternative other than vaccination comes from foreign sources because, while we have more than enough data to confirm or refute them, we choose not to analyze this information because we really don't want to know the answers as they don't fit the narrative. Many millions of people have already had Covid and have natural immunity but they are not even considered in impacts or lack of it on public health. Foreign studies have shown that natural immunity is up to 13 times more effective than vaccines but are not considered in this country. Our only reaction to this is to dismiss it as not proven or not germane. As far as medical personnel not getting vaccinated, there is a large enough percentage as to draw media attention.

If I understand correctly, a claim for a religious exemption from vaccination generally fails. This claim seems more like another avenue for the vaccine hold-outs to travel to avoid vaccination.
