Ivermectin is a drug used to treat worm infections. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid. Sometimes a corticosteroid is prescribed along with Ivermectin. It is prescribed to reduce inflammation caused by the death of the worms for which Ivermectin was prescribed. They are not the same drug; they are not even related.

C***D is not a worm. Taking a worm medicine for C***D is stupid. So is confusing Ivermectin and Dexamethasone.

Ivermectin is used for a lot more than worms

This just shows so many people only superficially look at the information we’re fed

Some cognitive testing might give you some data you could really use. The results would be your own business. However it turned out, knowing wouldn't hurt you any. Cognition changes over time, or at least can. I'm not prejudging. I'm only suggesting something that is harmless and might be very helpful.

Using ivermectin, an anti-parasitic drug, to treat or prevent C****-** is up there with swallowing bleach and blow drying your face, it does not work and can cause serious harm.

Infectious disease expert, Bindu Balani, M.D., shares the ins and outs of ivermectin and why it should not be used for the treatment or prevention of C****-**.

What is ivermectin?
Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug that is often used to treat or prevent parasites in animals and humans.

Across the U.S. there are reports of people using ivermectin prescribed for horses to try and prevent or treat C****-**.

Is ivermectin approved for use in humans?
Ivermectin can be prescribed to humans in tablet form to treat conditions caused by parasitic worms, as well as in a topical form to treat external parasites like lice.

Reports from the FDA are showing people ingesting ivermectin doses in a paste form that is designated for horses, as well as doctors even prescribing the medication for C****-**.

In a typical pre-p******c setting, there are about 3,600 prescriptions filled for ivermectin in a year. From early July and August, the CDC reported over 88,000 prescriptions dispensed – that is a 2,344% increase.

“The stark increase in prescriptions for ivermectin is not a coincidence – this is an ‘off-label’ use of the drug. While ivermectin is approved for use in parasitic conditions, there has been no evidence or approval for use against C****-**,” shares Dr. Balani.

Can ivermectin be used to treat C****-**?
No, ivermectin is not approved or authorized by the FDA for the prevention or treatment of C****-**.

Some studies have been conducted to evaluate the drug’s efficacy against C****-**, however the data has been inconsistent, inconclusive and too small to be considered high quality. There is no reliable evidence that ivermectin should be used for C****-**.

What happens if you take ivermectin?
The side effects of ivermectin overdose can include:

Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
Confusion, hallucinations, seizures, coma and death
To sum up, here are three reasons why you should not use ivermectin to try to prevent C****-**:

Ivermectin is not proven to be effective for C****-**.
Using ivermectin not as it was intended can cause a variety of health risks, even death.
You are not a horse or a cow and a large dose of ivermectin is highly toxic.
The C****-** v*****es are FDA approved and proven to be effective against C***D.
“Instead of listening to conspiracies online, please follow the data. The C****-** v*****es have all been thoroughly tested and are proven to be effective. Getting v******ted can help protect you against this deadly v***s,” concludes Dr. Balani.

I often take ibuprofen to stop headaches... and sometimes I take it for a sore knee... Imagine that, joint pain and brain pain from the same pill!
so how does it work?...

Ibuprofen reduces pain, fever, swelling, and inflammation by blocking the production of cyclooxygenase (COX)-1 and COX-2. The body releases these substances in response to illness and injury.

It blocks production of "COX.... doesn't;t really treat hangover, it prevents your bodies reaction by blocking COX.. See how that works, how a drug can be used for more than one thing... despite politics labeling it just for the one.

Google uses for aspirin... can be used to make a paste for bug bites, skin conditions, salicylic acid removes stains, and prevents fungus from going on plants...

How does it work for pain though? Because politics would call it a pain reliever and its not to be used for any other reason!
The Chicago researchers have shown that aspirin splits into two parts and affixes one part to the enzyme that produces prostaglandins--hormone-like messenger molecules that trigger many processes in the body, including inflammation. permanently altering its chemical structure and blocking the reaction that produces prostaglandins. Aspirin is the only NSAID known to work in this manner.

Oh yeah, it thins blood too... Imagine that.. more than - well how many Uses? JUST for plain old aspirin!

BUT WAIT!

Can ibuprofen be used as an antibiotic?
Ibuprofen and acetaminophen showed a potential antibacterial effect on isolated strains of bacteria. They had the same ability to inhibit bacterial growth.

What is the mechanism of action of ivermectin?
Ivermectin is used in the treatment of certain worm infections. It is used to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis) and a certain type of diarrhea (strongyloidiasis). It may also be used for some other kinds of worm infections.

Ivermectin appears to work by paralyzing and then k*****g the offspring of adult worms. It may also slow down the rate at which adult worms reproduce. This results in fewer worms in the skin, blood, and eyes.

Ivermectin, in presence of a v***l infection, targets the IMPα component of the IMP α/β1 heterodimer and binds to it, preventing interaction with IMP β1, subsequently blocking the nuclear t***sport of v***l proteins. This allows the cell to carry out its normal antiv***l response [26].

Jeeze! But politics state that a drug used to treat one thing is always unsuitable to use to treat another! Are there any other drugs in the political arena that are used to treat one thing and simply not suitable to treat another??

Don't get me started on the fungi that have the audacity to be taken internally in a humans that K**L BACTERIA! Penicillium chrysogenum and Acremonium chrysogenum. "They put rotten bread in a pill and take it for infection!"

Your point is ridiculous.

No they don't, they just opposed the government mandating of v*****es. Although there are some that are afraid to take it and oppose it, but it's like the Democrats were against the early release of the v*****e so both parties kind of switch their minds.
