All of the Afghanis that are being brought in are having to take it. It is used for multiple kinds of infections.
I said nothing about horses; it's used in humans for parasites, specifically river blindness and roundworm infection. So what kind of infections, other than parasites?
And requiring anti-parasite medication for immigrants from regions that are known for parasitic infections seems like a reasonable precaution to me.
