I turned off many of my automatic functions. I want to create the image, not the technology doing all the work. I sometimes puzzle people when I get out my Weston model 5 and set my camera on manual. I focus on the part of the subject I want to focus on. I admit that I don't have a darkroom anymore and resort to an much earlier version of photoshop, that I don't have to pay a ongoing fee to use. I still get great pictures.

Not to worry, if going senile, you’ll learn new stuff every day. What brings joy is the goal.
