Question: Can anyone tell me where Foliage Change is in "Full Color" now in VT or NY

Thank you. I see the color is coming along pretty well but it looks like it needs another few days to really ripen. I hope my trip north this weekend will find some pockets of nice color. I like it when there is still some green along with the colored trees, it makes for a nice contrast.

I plan to take a few real pictures later today with a real camera instead of a cell phone. I think the Sun is going to come out around 11 am. With that said, I will post something to give you a better idea as to what the situation is.

Good Morning Hoggers....
My wife and I are in Upstate Vermont (Burlington) right now and it seems we a "slightly" early the changing of the color for the leaves... We would dearly love to get come "calender worthy" shots of Autumn Scenery...
In the last several days, we have traveled the area of Stowe, coming from Maine, and we are seeing only about 10% to maybe 20% (???) in the coloring...
My question is... We have the ability to go anywhere in Vermont or New York and then south.....
... Can anyone give us "actual current reports" for locations of "full-color change happening right now ???"
Thanks so much in advance for your input and your help
Cheers

Sadly you are at least a week or more too early to see good fall color there. But at least you could find plenty of accommodations, right? This is my preferred time to go.
I was born and raised in N.E. and the target date for foliage was always Columbus Day (~Oct 12th) to the end of the month. Like Ricky in Casablanca who "went there for the waters," was misinformed, if you were told differently, you were misinformed! :-)
