Am I hearing her correctly that my 2 shots are not effective, perhaps detrimental? I do know that every year we take a best guess flu-flu [the regular flu] shot, a tradition like Thanksgiving Turkey. When I got my C***D shots the v*****e was very effective psychologically, making me feel free. But, her listing and commenting on variant statistics are contradictory to what we have been told... Perhaps the statistics are skewed by people like me thinking that my shots allow me to let my guard down??

Well, her whole point is based on a false premise, that the purpose of the v*****e is to prevent t***smission. You CAN still contract C***D and t***smit C***D after getting the v*****e. You are less likely to do so, however, and will shed fewer v***s particles for a shorter period of time if you have been v******ted. In addition, as has been shown in multiple studies, you are much less likely to be hospitalized and die. That would make the v*****e pretty effective. And the major point of the v*****e is to prevent death - this v***s has k**led over one of every 400 adults in the US.
