Well done, when's the next lot coming? xxx
Good morning all, it's cloudy again but hoping it will clear up like it did yesterday. Nothing planned for the day, finished my shawl yesterday and it's in the 'to be blocked' pile and have started a biased lace squares scarf, might do it in rainbow colours. Have a great day but stay safe. xx

They don’t even take current pictures anymore because they mail your new license to you so my photo is about 10 years old……how much since does that make?
You do have to take a new pic after so many years. I don't remember how many though. I've had to do it once already.

Well done Trish. Hope you can relax a bit today xx
Good morning from a very misty Surrey. Real autumn morning here, but I think the sun will be through later. Off to the shops this morning and then will do some patchwork with half inch hexies.
Happy Thursday everyone and stay safe xxx

Not much to mess up. I go for the windswept look!🙄
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:42 am EDT and 9'C (48'F) going up to 22'c (72'F). We did not get the heat and humidity that was forecast yesterday. I was overcast and cool for most of the day. It should be nice for knitting in the parking lot.
Our dishwasher is broken. It won't turn on. I suspect it will need a new control board, because that is the most expensive part. Our warranty covers parts but not labour. And I am pretty sure it will require 2 trips by the repair man, 1 to diagnose and 1 to insert the part once it arrives. Until then it is back to handwashing. DD doesn't like hot water, mum can't see the food particles, and I can't stand the smell of the sponge (I want a new one with every use.) Can't understand why we need the dishwasher!!!
Our new covid number is 593 with 5 deaths. Positivity is 2.5% There are 5 new cases in this area, 1 in my brother's area and 6 in the area of his cottage. None of those cases have been serious enough to be admitted to hospital. Positivity in this area is 1.96%
This province vaccinated 36K people yesterday. Toronto is pushing to try to get their vaccination rate to 90%.
I'm not happy with the next section of the shawl, and especially not happy with the long floats on the back. I'm going to frog that section and redo it capturing the floats. (Whoever heard of long floats on a shawl?)
You can see the floats on the right side

Thank you. I'm quite happy with the golden wrap.
Jury is still out on the new shawl.

Biased lace square scarf sounds interesting. Is it on Ravelry?
