I'm really TERRIBLE at shooting with my cell phone. I simply cannot hold it still while I push the button. So, unless I have something to set it on and against, they always turn out blurry. Recently I was driving down 93 north of Vegas through the Joshua Tree forest (the Nevada one). They are a bit different from our Arizona ones. Anyway, I had my phone handy, so that's what I grabbed to get this image. I'll admit running it through LR for some basic work, then through Topaz Sharpen.
Beautiful capture, Kathy!
You did a nice job on this picture.👍
Thanks for sharing your photo with us. Unsteady hands? Try using burst mode for those moments. Sometimes you just might find a very sharp image amongest the slightly blurry ones.
This one came out nice and sharp. Don't you have a setting where the camera will take a picture with voice command?

Thanks for the tip. I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I'll look it up.

Wow! That would be so cool! I've never heard of that.

It's easy, on my 8+, I just hold down the shutter button. You can hear the camera taking many photos.
This pic is really nice!
Sometimes I use the volume up/down control on my tethered headphones as a remote shutter release.
Nice! I feel the same way with my phone.
Wow! That turned out very well. Looks like shaky hands settled down for you there. By the way, even with a Samsung cellphone you can get a burst of images by just holding down the shutter button. Thanks for sharing that Joshua Tree.
Something I do with my iPhone 11 (and I’m guessing it’s the same with the Samsung) is to hold the phone in the horizontal position and press the volume up button on the side of the phone. That way you can use both hands to hold the phone. At least on the iPhone that button serves as an alternate shutter release.
