Thanks for checking out the shots and for the comment. I agree, I don't like the breathing in the smoke. I was up in Graeagle with my RV and left a day early do to the smoke getting worse. It was not as bad at home but still present and killed of any astrophotography.

After getting back home in Grass Valley the smoke from the Dixie fire flowed into the central valley making for interesting sunsets and smoke in the Sierra's made for interesting sunrises. Beautiful images! It is a good thing that we don't have to vote for the best photo on "The Hog" today; sooo many great captures.
