While up at Graeagle last week I took a couple of shots of the pyro-cumulus clouds from the Beckwourth fire Complex. After getting back home in Grass Valley the smoke from the Dixie fire flowed into the central valley making for interesting sunsets and smoke in the Sierra's made for interesting sunrises. All questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

You are welcome. They are beautiful pictures.

Love the smokey shots, but sad about the destruction. We got another flash flood last night.

Hi alberio
Thanks for checking out the images of the smoke. It does make for interesting photo's but also can do a lot of damage. These where lighting strike fires so I guess it was natures way of doing some major recycling. The smoke and clouds have deterred my astrophotography for a few days so I took these shots instead.
