Only if you don't quite understand the nuances of the English language.

The answer is to a question. 'What rhymes with orange?' is an interrogative sentence.

The OP looks at the sentence as declarative...which it is NOT.

Now the sentence... 'What rhymes with orange.' is declarative...and would be incorrect.
