What rhymes with orange?
...No, it doesn't.
I saw a dress with a fringe,
the dress was red,
the fringe was orange.
(FWIW, in my neck of the woods, "orange" is pronounced "ah'-ringe". YMMV)

no rhyme is what I have always heard.
At least the last two syllables must match closely, or it isn't a rhyme, unless the next-to-last is unaccented.

You are right - what, does not rhyme with orange.
Sporange...which means...The botanical structure that creates spores.

Someone finally got the joke!
Orange rhymes with Blorenge (a mountain in Wales) and sporange (a technical word for a sac where spores are made). Of course, if you want to write a rhyming poem about oranges, the scientific or geographic research involved might be a little tough.
No rhyme for ‘purple’ either!😀
