Thanks Joe, I have the luxury of having an endless supply of subjects, but since it's my first season doing this don't know if I will have the same opportunity next year. Lots of repetition!

Few more from today. This time I changed the shutter speed to 1/4000th of a second

This morning I upped the shutter speed to 1/6400 of a second. Always a trade off. Still trying to eliminate the motion blur.
If the hummers are still around in 2 weeks after my last day of work... (forever!) I may brake out the flashes to up the shutter speed and stop down the aperture. I hate using flash, mainly cause they confuse me, but I am already bouncing between 1600 and 3200 ISO and shots are grainy. I'm getting closer though. Thank goodness I have a hobby to carry me though retirement.

Joe,
One week to go. Sony pictures/Columbia studios has been good to me but I am tired. It will be weird having time to actually plan out how to shoot things. Have lots of ideas but have always had the excuse "not enough time"

A few from today between showers.
Nice trio of photos. I like the Chrysler Purple on the third photo! LOL Love these little creatures. Never get tired of watching them. Thanks for posting.
