Girlie Gull also makes a fantastic fan when Alan slightly dislodges her.
It has been a lovely summer day here today. The sun has now come round to look in my study window. I've put the fan on (the electric one). I shall miss her saying good evening when the days get too short.

Thank you! They are not blue but a very light green easy to install peel and stick tiles would have been better if I had the right tools to cut a straight line with!
They look good, I didn't notice any non-straight lines

We've been lucky here, we've had hazy sunshine most of the day, long may it last. xx
Slightly cooler again today...down to 24', it's been cloudy until about 3 and now the sun is out. Off to make the evening meal now

That’s because I didn’t get to close to show them but they are there!

Another difficult day for you Polly, I'm so sorry, but you hang in there and believe that things are going to get better!! xxxx
I wish. Went by a lot I own and club next door has planted 2 flowering trees on my lot. Got gent to cut mom’s vines and had to shovel a dead small critter off the basket ball tar. Couldn’t find the chain saw bought another and gent found my old one in back of van where I told son it was but he didn’t see it. Got myself sick in the heat trying to buy another less than a fortune. Got mail at mom’s and city has charged me for 2 cubic yards of pick up which isn’t mine ...again. Every time I answer the phone or get mail it’s a problem. Minor at least. Got note that man who is building $500,000 homes wants to get me new mailbox and landscaping free of charge so his prospective buyers will be impressed. Meet him Wednesday. Sounds too good to be true ??? I’m expecting a problem but I’m just use to problems by now. Haven’t gotten urologist or begun hypothyroid meds yet. Urologist didn’t answer and don’t want to get meds reaction so I couldn’t meet the man about the mailbox and yard. Had bees nest in mailbox. Haven’t seen the gent who mows here and hope he isn’t sick. He’s been so nice to me and even got the bees nest out. They rebuilt but son sprayed and I think they are gone. Only this mess to comment on but going to catch up on your better news I hope.

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:42 am EDT and 14'C (57'F). It is cloudy. Tonight is Knitting in the Parking Lot at the LYS.
The bunny did not come back last night to make a new hole in the carrot patch.
Our new covid number is 135 with 4 new deaths. Positivity rate is 0.8%. This area reported 0 new cases and 4 new cases near my brother, one of them requiring hospitalization. Yesterday it was announced that Canada will be opening our border to fully vaccinated Americans. Unfortunately, the same day President Biden announced that Canadians will NOT be able to pass over the US border until at least August 22. The TV just announced that globally the number of cases has risen 12% since LAST WEEK because of various variants. Toronto Football club (European football/soccer) played in front of 7K fans in their first game in their home stadium in over 15 months.
This province vaccinated 140K people yesterday. Clinics were held in this area, but numbers were not reported. 65% of adults in this province are now fully vaccinated. All the mass vaccination clinics are now operating on a walk-in basis. Anyone 12+ can walk in without an appointment and get vaccinated.
I did some more rows on my frankenstein summer top, but I think I need to frog back a couple of rows. I read the pattern wrong and I should have joined in the round two rows ago. Oh well.

That lawyer's office was not helpful. Did the lawyer get a copy of the papers? That lawyer can transfer a copy to their office in your town.
I hope you can get connected with a urologist.
Today will be better. <Hugs>
I got the papers to lawyer and hope she begins. I enlisted her help before Covid. Don’t know why urologist didn’t answer. Must have been on the potty. 🙂. Got a name of another from a good friend and might call him. Some of the doctor’s don’t take new patients. We will see. I thought I had a day I could just knit but got a call my kind of friend who has problems from her stroke bought a car and can’t figure the dashboard. I looked it up on computer and it’s real techy. I told her all I could do is look at it and say ‘oh my god’. Told her to get the dealer to instruct and I will come and help as I can. There goes my knitting day. I get so tired after any attempt at life that I’m too tired to do much more. I think due to hypothyroid. Need to start meds ASAP.

We've decided to eat the weeds in the garden.
They're growing as fast as the vegetables.
Don't overdo in the heat.
We finally finished mowing the grass yesterday, right before the rain started.
Why don’t they make grass that only grow an inch height. If they can go to the moon low grass should be easy.

Says the person with 20 foot tall lilacs growing in the back yard. I'm thinking it might be easier to cut them down at 4 foot level and use the rest for firewood
Love the look and smell of lilac
Good morning all from the kitchen in a cloudy and cool Norfolk. Just a quickie while I wait for the salmon and potatoes to cook, salmon and prawn fishcakes on the go, though not sure where I am going to put them in the freezer. Have a good day, back to the cooker. xx
