I planted Crocosmia in my backyard a couple years ago in hopes of attracting hummingbirds. Plus I like the flowers. This is the first time I have been able to capture a hummer feeding on said flowers. The dark blue background is the side of my house. That it provided such a nice backdrop was a bit of a surprise. As always, I enjoy reading your comments and knowing your thoughts. Thanks for looking.

Very nice photos. You are right, the blue house made for a surprisingly interesting background.

Great captures my fellow Washingtonian, we have lots of them here in the NE part of the state, and a very tiny one, half the size of the others!!
