I planted Crocosmia in my backyard a couple years ago in hopes of attracting hummingbirds. Plus I like the flowers. This is the first time I have been able to capture a hummer feeding on said flowers. The dark blue background is the side of my house. That it provided such a nice backdrop was a bit of a surprise. As always, I enjoy reading your comments and knowing your thoughts. Thanks for looking.

It's great when a plan works--and your plan certainly did. Very nice shots.

Very beautiful. Planting the crocosmia paid off in attracting the hummers which you captured so well.

An excellent set. It's great to see hummers away from feeders.
