We were treated to quite a show in Puerto Rico last week while eating at a beach side restaurant. These are SOOC (acutally- Iphone as I didn't have my Nikon with me). I tried some processing but I feel that the edits don't really improve the shots at all. Your thoughts?

Hi Mike, what a great photo. Using the free Lightroom app on my iPhone, I used a little bit of sharpening, dehaze, saturation, and black.

Yes. Maybe my photos could use just a tad of increased vibrance. But once I start editing, sometimes I go down the rabbit hole of going too far.

Both beautiful images, I like the first best for the single cresting wave in the water.
Colors and light come together well in both.

I like the first also for the same reason.

The second of your two great shots is more vibrant 🌀💞🌀

Very nice shots Mike. They look very nice in the DL, especially the first one. I like how you caught the wave in the first one. The colors are very subtle, not overdone at all. I do however like Craig's vision and processing of your first image too.

I worked with the second image and edited to my taste using less brightness, sharpening just a bit and increasing the saturation. The result is what I usually do with my sunset photos.

Both are very nice. I prefer the first for the cresting wave Umnak cited. The only thing I would do is crop a little off the bottom.
