I have over 4000 recipes on my computer..all categorized ... more than half came from me or family, the other half Ive copied from web sites or wherever ...each time I use one, I make notes of changes ... most of them I have not even tried...but when looking for ideas as to what to have, great reminders... i use recipes as a guide line any way....dont measure much of anything except when baking ...those are formulas not recipes.. I like to read cookbooks...have about 200 of them....but may or may not try some recipes there....

In Texas we would hang you from the nearest Mesquite tree if you put chocolate in the Chili.
