Just imagine how much volatile and/or toxic materials are transported on our roads, rivers and railways each day. The next time that you are driving behind a tractor-trailer take a look at the Hazmat emblem which is a D.O.T. requirement and if you are like me, it will make your butt-hole pucker at times knowing that I'm following a 40,000-lbs. bomb that is only as safe as the driver at the wheel and those around him along with its tires, brakes and other items traveling at 70-mph on a busy interstate.

It seems like the word You could have been replaced we as you are commenting on your computer on a photo website, which would indicate you are just as guilty as the rest of us. We all share in the blame.

An article in my Newspaper yesterday.."Chemical additives used in plastic production are so rife that they have been found in Herring Gull eggs. Phthalates are a group of chemicals added to plastics to keep them flexible, and researchers found up to six types of them in each egg". Scary or not?
Imagine WWII when a large percentage of shipping didn't make it to their destination. The ocean is a big place and does a good job of cleaning things up. Just like the oil spill back in 2009. Disappeared in front of our eyes.

But that doesn't show the damage these spills have had on the coral, seaweed and seabirds
