What a great set, like them all. The last one is priceless.

Glad you liked them. When I look through photos I have taken, those with people, and especially children, are the ones that shine the brightest. I tend to be camera shy at both ends of the camera.

Great photos, just goes to prove you captured the moment no matter what camera you use, if you put these pics out to show in your house could you tell weather it was taken with a 4mp camera? My answer is no you can not.You don't need all this expensive gear to capture the moment, that is just my opinion, these are great pics, nice job.

I couldn't agree more Jim. The incessant clamoring after the latest and greatest has obscured what photography is all about, to ever increasing levels.

Thanks Bill! These kinds of photos are, for me, timeless. So much more than an image, perfectly preserved. So different from landscapes.

Nice. I have two of these same hens. Also a bad a.. roster who looks after his two girls. My dogs give him a wide birth when we are in barn together.

I used to visit a friend living in Carversville PA, whose wife had a herd of chickens. Always been an early riser, so while visiting, I would let them out and bring in the eggs with my coffee. They were all different breeds. Some with rather beautiful feathers. Watched their behavior, but didn't try to pick one up or engage them in any way.

Funny. I went 4 6 8 12 24 36. I see a pattern developing. I really don’t see the need for a future additional number but you never know.

Great shots - makes me wonder though why so many of us have to have multi-million megapixel cameras.
