I think I will end up reprocessing that image. I sorts rushed it because I was in a hurry to see what one of the many could look like.
We visited a rookery that I only reciently learned about. It was well worth the trip. Difficult conditions yesterday. Clear skys and shade. Some birds in the dark, others in bright sun, still others-- like this one part sun and shade.
It was a good place to work off a tripod

My first visit to a nesting site.I could not get a clear view but there were also Glossy Ibis nesting there as well.
