I like it as is but I see a lot of potential to take it in different directions. I took a few minutes to play with it in Silver Efex Pro and IMHO it has great potential in B&W also
Thanks for the reply and recommendations NJFrank, actually, the moon is on layer 1 and the clouds (smoke) is on layer 2. The problem is that the smoke is so light in the area of the moon that it looks like the moon is in front. I'm making changes to that background to eliminate the confusion.
I kept the moon super large to make the details on the train stand out better. I did a lot of shifting, moving and sizing and this was my favorite... but things have been known to change.

Jack, I understand your thought process in setting up the composite. The fun part at least for me are the endless possibilities when composing the shot.
If I might suggest and I don’t know if it will work. But darken the moon a bit so the smoke in front of the moon will stand out. Since it is so light
Thanks again NJFrank, I've taken some of the suggestions from this thread and have come up with a whole new image result. I'll post it once I'm satisfied.... stay tuned. lol
