Lovely work on this, Linda. You know me - I'd like to see the original image.
Thanks Kathy. I think this is the one - edited from jpg (I don't remember why ) back in 2017.

I may have gear, Linda, but I do not have creativity.

Well, I finally got a chance to open the Topaz Studio that I downloaded. It's a trial - 30 days. I guess I don't qualify for the real thing. Oh well!

Thanks so much, Phil. I'm very pleased you enjoyed! Do you have the Wilson's Snipe in the wetlands?

They are around but the old Snipe hunt joke is no joke, they are a very tough sighting and I have never managed a photo. And I can only dream of a background like that for any bird shot.

That's certainly a disappointment. The page in my account was clear that they were offering me the software for free because of my legacy purchases (old software discontinued). That page disappeared after I downloaded Studio 2

I accidentally discovered I could get the software free because of my "legacy" purchases. More info here.

Added a bit of Nik Color Efex. More news that may be of interest: Nik Collection is on sale through June 30 for $99. The newest version was released earlier this week. It works fairly well with Affinity and the M1 Mac, though I've found one or two bugs already (the unsupported 2012 version won't even install ).

Go to https://nikcollection.dxo.com/ for a 30-day free trial.

And, finally, a dab of Topaz Simplify watercolor (another discovery: my old Simplify works great on my new M1 Mac!).
