I am not a user of HDR but thought I should try it. I likely should have been out doors... may try it on Saturday. Now...this is a scene present series... not done by my own setting in manual. So I likely really cannot judge the results. But here is what the camera produced. On my screen the Download does look much better.

I wanted to try it manually on the camera and then put them together in my elements 19 program.. but don't know how. Can anyone tell me what to do in PS elements ?

What a good girl you are! :-) I am trying hard to work my way through my manual! I do find that I can understand the books for Dummies... better than any others!

These photos are beautiful Pat.

Thanks. I sit w the manual and the camera - I still don't understand some of the terms!

I used a 3 stop ND filter. My settings are ISO 100, f18, 30 second exposure. I don't do many long exposures but sometimes the scene beckons it. My only dilemma was the wind blurred a few branches on this one.

That is beautiful! I don't think anyone will hold the blurred branches against you! LOL! This is simply beautiful! I have several ND filters but they are 8 or 6 and I keep forgetting to take them with me ! I also have a circular Polarizer which helps sometimes.
