Thanks GiGIMac103) I never thought I would give up my Canon 7D Mii but I put my Sigma 150 - 600 on the T7i and it took even sharper photos at the 600 than the 7D. I was very surprised at that!

That's awesome! I have used my Sigma 150-600 w/ftz adapter on the z6ii with great results as well. I'll post some later tonight!

This is wonderful D the D! That is "Miniature effect" isn't it! Love it!

Thank you so much. I noticed the miniature effect in the challenge description so I decided to try it out. I have to thank you again. I took this picture in Shinjuku, Tokyo almost 20 years ago and I’ve always liked it. You gave it new life for me. Awesome 😊

I just lost a post - not loading fast enough. Let's try again. One of the first pieces of advice someone gave me when I got my first digital was "read the manual!!" And I did and still read the manuals for my cameras - often more than once and have also downloaded the manuals or links to them to my phone. I haven't fooled with in camera effects for some time but I will before the challenge is over. Meanwhile: archives for multiple exposure

What a good girl you are! :-) I am trying hard to work my way through my manual! I do find that I can understand the books for Dummies... better than any others!

These photos are beautiful Pat.

We all are guilty of not reading our manuals…. Yup… me too! And I am not going to ask you read yours…. But what
I would like you to do is try different settings on your camera, iPad, i Phones, Samsung, etc. etc. Step out of that comfort zone for a couple of days! I don’t expect you to get real fancy or worry about mistakes. Just try out different settings. Let us know some tricks you use. It could be anything about settings… i.e. manual, AV, special settings on your camera, etc. On your phone there are great editing settings and scene settings. My T7i has a bunch and I am just learning how to use them. (“Toy” “Miniature” HDR art standard” “HDR art Vivid” “Water Painting” etc, etc… Me… I usually just use ‘Manual” but I have decided it is time to step out of my comfort zone. I often use my iPhone when I don’t have my Canon and it is fun to play with! I also just learned how to transfer my pictures off my camera to my iPhone so I can send them off in a text if I want.
So when you post a photo just jot down what setting you used and / OR any advice on how you got the shot that you might want to share. It doesn’t have to be long. It will help the folks here learn something new! If there is something you want more information…just ask.
And of course… don’t forget to have fun!! That is what we are here to do!
We all are guilty of not reading our manuals…. Yup... (show quote)

Nice start off Sharon and thanks for hosting an interesting subject I believe. The manuals for "Dummies" is a must have for most of us. I have the Canon Rebel T6 & 90D. Still learning all the capabilities the 90D has. Probably will never learn them all. See what I can muster up to put in this challenge.
Thanks again for hosting!

Beautifully captured! I never think to put the W/B on auto! Will try it!
