From 1947-1953 the body style was virtually unchanged making it very hard to tell the difference. I just list the info they give me unless I know it's wrong. Sometimes the vintage plate will state a year, but I know the body style was't for that year, so I have to be very careful. Doesn't mean I am always right, but I try to be.
