Here’s one I did from an iPhone shot.

The download is sharper.

Here's one from a photography class I took years ago. I knew little about Photoshop then, so it was lots of selecting and masking pixel by pixel around the edges of the wheelbarrow. Much easier these days.

I did these a few years ago with PS-3 which won't run on my newer computer, and I can't figure out how to do it with Corel Paintshop Pro

These are quite beautiful cmc. Is there a youtube or tutorial to help? If you have the capability of layers, you can use a colored image as background, add the same image in B/W (or sepia or...) and then erase the areas in the desaturated layer in which you want the color to show through.

Pg 1 - I love this type of image, Pat, and you did a wonderful job!

I think you might have hosted "A Touch of Color" and year or two ago, and it was a really fun challenge, so I am really looking forward to seeing what people come up with this time.

Rather than pull any from my archives, I'll try to add more new ones later this week.
Tim

Nice work, Tim. What program did you use?

It certainly does have a profound impact, Pat! I'll see what works for me! I'm kind of lazy when it comes to learning new tricks, I must say...but I will try! Had a heck of a time with our computer for about a week until Bill could fix it! What aggravation !

It's very aggravating when they get fussy!
