It reminded me that when I was working there in 2003, I took a bunch of photos of it and the sign boards at various places along its route.

Since it was built in 1976 the Alaska Permanent Fund pays every Alaskan resident about $1500 a year from the oil revenues.
I never met one that was unhappy.
