I don't use LR, only PS2021 ... download speeds are also dependent on one's internet provider, WE have the slowest in the world in my area... I only use Topaz AI for nature bird images... where it works very well. I might try ONE of their other software programs soon as well...

I notice my internet slowing down at times when EVERYONE is on it! Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Go to the Nvidia site, easy if you know which video card you have. Just look it up in your systems.

Thanks, I'll check it out further.

What on earth would Facebook or Twitter have to do with that?

Darn if I know but a notice will pop up that Nividia G Force or something like that is ready to update and when I click on that it asks me to log in to one of those social media sites.

Well, it's a tad slower when going through LR. I'm wondering if it's because I load it WITH the LR adjustments. It's typically taking about 5-6 minutes when done through LR. Maybe the answer is to do the sharpen thing first, before opening in LR.

That is what is recommended, to sharpen first.....

Which is the opposite of what I've always been told. But it works better to not do it through LR.

I crop and do lens correction as well before going to Topaz.
If you need to crop the image...it will take less time to process Topaz.

True. I guess one needs to be judicious.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention this as well... BEFORE going to TOPAZ, I always crop away.. and it speeds up the process, since one is working on a smaller area... THEN one can enlarge to suit... thanks

I started messing with the preferences options in AI Sharpen. It stopped operating. Tried several things to fix, including re-downloading the program. No luck. Have a request into Topaz and a reference # has been established. I am sure they walk me thru the fix, but if for some reason they can't, AI sharpen is history.

I'm sorry to hear that, because for me it is working nicely and I find it a very useful program. I find it interesting that they couldn't walk you through a fix.

I haven't had that problem, but I will say that I have had occasion to contact Topaz for a fix and they are very prompt in getting back and solving the problem for me...go to your account and click on the product...then support to fill out the form.

Suggest you contact Topaz support, tell them your CPU, RAM, video card and it's RAM. You might be able to upgrade the video card to a newer more powerful model without changing the computer or upgrading its RAM.
