Bergen was abandoned on the street by his owner when she moved, and roamed my daughter's neighborhood for a couple of weeks. He took a liking to my daughter and grandchildren, but they already had two cats. Our cat had passed away a couple of years earlier, so we adopted Bergen. He is a Maine Coon, at least he checks off all the characteristics of a Maine Coon, so he is mostly Maine Coon. He is a great fellow and a lean 19.5 pounds of love.

Bergen certainly has the look of a Maine Coon Cat. He is beautiful and that is a great detailed portrait.

burgen is a beauty, john, and the portrait is gorgeous. i don't know why people abandon their pets...but i'm sure
burgen got a good deal when y'all adopted him!!

He is beautiful John, excellent portrait. We ended up having 11 abandoned cats in the space of 18 months!!
