Just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth. Can't help with the gmail light room thing I wanted to explain our house hold. We have an antenna on the roof for broadcast TV. We have comcast/infinity for internet only with which we utilize our gmail accounts. And finally, we recently added a Roku streaming device which was a one time purchase. So far we have only subscribed to Britbox. We can watch most BBC shows whenever we want.

I do the same. Over the air I get 38 "channels" from about 12 local stations that each have 4 HD streams. Since I get the 4-5 major networks, I have everything I need. I can watch the ever wrong 10 day weather forecast every 10 minutes and the hourly panic - virus updates from the local news stations that nothing else to show. At night there are murder detective or not funny comedies on every station...

I also have Comcast's internet and 2 Roku boxes. From there I use Roku Channel, Netflix (my daughter), Hulu and my wife of course wanted Hallmark. Total each month is the cost of the internet and $10 for the two subscriptions. Beats the heck out of 200-5 channels not watched. On Youtube I watch a number of photography channels and am always learning something new. On Hulu and Roku channels I get a charge on watching the golden TV era shows from the 60s and 70s when real TV was made with original ideas.

As to your emailing photos, the pop and smpt servers are those servers that host the email service. You will find what you're looking for from google, this may help. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7126229?hl=en

I intend to do something similar. I have had some health issues and I'm still dealing with my income tax. I hired someone to do my taxes and will hire someone to install the antenna and run the cables. I have reached the age (81) where I hire people to avoid aggravation. Up until now I did everything myself, no more. It's time to start spending some of the money I have been saving.

...if I read you rightly, you're depending on your phone for internet? Spend some of that dough for a good desktop 'puter with a good monitor (better two) and pay the cable company for your internet. That way you'll get some speed and be able to "move around" with some alacrity. I can't imagine what a pain it would be to use my phone connection for the stuff I do...

I wish I could! I live on a mountain top in the boonies. I do not have any cable service available. We had a cable service when I moved in about 8 years ago, but it was horrible! It would go down for weeks at a time and when it was working it was slower than wireless phone service. I finally dropped them as did most everyone else I knew that used them. They went out of business. I hope that someday someone brings good cable to my location.

I get by okay using my iPhone as hot-spot for now. Sometimes, during bad weather, I'm down for a few hours at a time but it's better than the old cable company.

I have attached a photo of my house that a friend took while flying over it. It just me and the wild animals out here in the woods.

I just export a copy of the finished edit to my desktop and then when I compose the e-mail etc. it is easy to find and attach as a file.

Same here. You do have to tidy up your desktop regularly, however.

I haven't tried this method, since I just use the export feature, but this may work: http://pixelegacy.com/lightroom-gmail-setup/
