I've received those notices and each one referenced a credit card account that I DON'T have. I got rid of all the cards but two, more than ten years ago. So I figured they were really fishing for information. I ignored it. One of my cards keeps tabs on credit checks on our names.

Whenever I receive a suspicious email, I click on the sender’s email address in the original message. It usually reveals the real address despite what they claim. I use Outlook mail so I don’t know if that works in other email apps.
Also, look for misspellings. I see Bestbuy in your email. Shouldn’t it be BestBuy?

2 weeks ago I got a phishing email from someone purporting to be Chase Bank. At the bottom, it said Chase@ instead of the Marca Registrada which should be ® for Registered or © for Copyright.

Here in the US we also have a government page to send phishing & other scams which we can send to report it.
For us here in the US, I’ll try to send that later.

Right now I’d contact BestBuy to see if it’s legitimate.

I received a message from Sam’s club, “as a long standing member you have a choice of several free gifts.” I choose the camera for the dashboard of my car, “we need a credit card # to change you $7.50 for shipping,” they requested. They proceed with their scam and I felt for it. Few weeks later I received a small Mickey Mouse camera and I put it away till I received a charge of $79.00 in my credit card. I managed to send it back and get a refund after spending several hours on the phone. Since then I have received the same message from Macy’s, Costco and stores I do business every day, I have contacted those stores and I was told they have nothing to do with those Pirates. Please remember you get nothing for nothing and the older you are the easiest is to be scammed. That is the lesson of the day.
