Sample Image Taken with Nikon Z 24-200

Although still back-ordered at B&H, Unique Photo in NJ finally got a shipment of the Nikkor Z 24-200 lenses in. So yesterday morning I drove up to Fairfield, and bought one. Haven't had the chance to use it much yet, but did take it to a local park close to my home to try it out. Pretty happy with the results so far. Seems like a sharp and versatile lens, and it's nice not having to use the FTZ adapter on my Z50.

Thanks Bob - I'm glad you liked it. The park is still looking pretty bare, but Spring is finally starting to show up.

I cannot imagine how much better anyone would expect a lens to be unless for many, many more dollars.

Thanks John - I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your comments. I was a little skeptical about this lens when it was announced, but after reading/watching lots of reviews I thought it was worth the chance. It is a great walk-around lens.

Thanks Jim - I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your very nice comments. I've been waiting since Nikon announced this lens for them to be available, and saw a post in UHH yesterday saying dealers finally had them in stock. So far so good - think I'll get my money's worth out of this lens.

Bruce - I couldn't be happier with this lens. I was concerned about the image quality from an 8x optical zoom lens that cost under $900, but after looking at sample images and reviews I decided to give it a try. Have to say I'm starting to think there may be some truth in Nikon's marketing messages about the large lens mount and flange focal distance.
