On the S.E. corner of Mount Vernon Washington lies, Little Mountain Park.
From here, one can see the Puget Sound & Salish Sea, Cascade Mountains, Olympic Mountains, Whidbey & Camano Islands, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juan, Island, and Snohomish Counties!
My first real pano attempt from the North Lookout
Mt. Baker to the right and San Juan Islands to the left. In between lie the cities, of Mount Vernon and Burlington.
In the distance(middle) are the Chuckanut Mountains. This is the only place the Cascades Mountain Range meets the salt water of the Salish Sea.

Great Rob, you got a good sweep of the view there (I remember this is the place that you recommended to me last summer). I am finally getting into pano's myself, having been tempted by UTMike's great productions for too long! (Great Mike - I love your stuff also!).

Thanks Joe, quite the hazy night and I should have cleared out the haze more but this is how I learn. It’s such a great view from up there, and only 5 minutes away from the house!

Very nice pano! One of several things I miss about the Pacific Northwest. If you get out to the Olympic Peninsula you should give Blue Mountain a try. You could get a pano from Canada to Mount Rainier. I have a shot from there on 6x4.5 slide film at dawn...incredible!
