Taking short breaks is healthy John, I am on one right now, at least as far as posting is concerned - but I and others here would miss you, so why don't you give yourself a break and then come back refreshed again? Joe

Getting bored with daily routines in life is common and breaks are needed. That's with most anything.

Thanks for all the responses, folks. At this point, I’m not really thinking of leaving permanently, just giving myself time to recharge, so to speak. And at this point, just considering it.

I know I am late to this discussion. But I too have considered quitting. But what I decided to do is limit the topics I view and comment on.
I think I have a pretty good handle on who to follow. Whether because the are knowledgeable or for their creativity or just because they seem to be nice decent individual who try to be helpful.
Not sure I can go cold turkey.😀

A break is as good as a rest John,I felt exactly the same way myself but personally I don't think that this pandemic has helped.When I posted my first posts after my break I felt much better getting back to something I really enjoy but have a good think about it John and still get out with your camera I'm sure you'll feel better for it and start to enjoy it again.

Not that I know of.
So skip a day or two once in a while.
If you plan on taking a month off, I'd suggest that you post something to that affect do that everyone isn't asking where you are.
