Wouldn't the simplest solution be to have mobile vans/buses go into locales where there are few public t***sit options? They could provide ID cards to people in need? V**er ID makes sense but let's not use the reasonable requirement to disenfranchise people who can't get to a government office.
How can they “ provide if cards” with the new strict laws .

No food or water for those waiting in line is a “ safeguard”??
"No food or water in line given out by those who are Not poll workers." Over 40 states call that illegal e******neering.
What if a guy with a MAGA hat and Trump shirt was passing out food and water in a v****g line? Would you like that?
And besides, don't you think B****s and minorities are smart enough to bring their own bottle of water? If not, maybe you are r****t.

Yeah . So what difference does it make who the food or water comes from.
Dumb
Preventing e******neering or the appearance thereof is not 'dumb'. Try to keep up.
I suppose the limitation has something to do with directly influencing v**ers in the vicinity of the polling place. I'd have to read the law to develop a better understanding of the matter. You could do the same.

Yeah, so what? Those provisions exist and are even more strict in over 30 other states including NY and Delaware.
What state bans giving food or water to v**ers ( dem or Republican ) waiting in line to v**e?

The same way the city/state would provide ID cards if the person went to the appropriate city office - they show their SS card and 2 bills with their name and address on it.

I went and look the other states . They prohibit e******neering with a certain distance from the door of polling station .
Only this law inserts food and water into the issue.

You want food/water-v**e republican. Thats why it makes a difference

It would be difficult to argue against as it would be an official recognition of a citizen by a governmental office. If they did, it would obfuscation and the hypocrisy would be cried out. I needed to provide those documents and my Massachusetts license when I applied for a license when I relocated to NC.

FALSE: "No food or water for those waiting in line is a 'safeguard'??"
ACCURATE: The new law prevents political workers from distributing food and water. But others may do so.
Quote and link please. I followed a link by someone (I don't know if it was you) who said the same thing yesterday. What I read was not what you are stating.

Sometimes your posts are very good. Sometimes they are a bit Pollyannish (It's a word even if the cheap spellcheck UHH uses doesn't recognize it).

I think you neglected to include the flaming ones that I sometimes fall into. As for this one, it seems the most reasonable solution (at least to me). If the problem is a group wants to ensure greater accuracy and a legal proof is required, this would work. If it really is about v**er suppression (which I believe it is), the v**er ID requirement posed by the republicans would become far more difficult to defend.
(ps: I wish I had an unfailingly optimistic outlook; I don't. I see America in decline, like the UK and Roman empires before us. While we're all pissing on each other, China plots our downfall.)

Not accurate. No person can distribute food or water within 25 feet of the line and 150 feet of the v****g building.
