I rarely say this, but I like your original crop, with none of the suggestions implemented. Possibly Freds thought on removing some of the branches behind the squirrel but I'd have to see it in the full pic before agreeing. Of course the good thing about photography is you can try out all the changes and select whatever you like best. If it were me, I'd send the original crop to my framer friend...
