People who are so out of touch with the rest of society as not to have a driver's license or state issued photo I.D. probably don't have the money to purchase a plane ticket anyway, so how are they affected here? Alabama requires only the presentation of a birth certificate and a small fee to qualify to take a test for a driver's license or the issuance ofa state certified I.D. card. I'm sure other states have similar provisions. How do these people get bank accounts for the deposit of their subsistence checks with no identification?

They don't have bank accounts. They use check cashing outfits that take a chunk out of their check.

And you know this how?

Ohhhhh, I didn't know checks were issued. I thought they were credited to an account in the recipient's name and accessed with the use of the famous EBT cards.

I am not sure what welfare means in your part of the world.

But in Texas, a very red state, one can get food stamps, cash family support, and unemployment without ever showing an ID to anyone.

The state just asks for one's social security number.

Now can we discuss your absurd idea that poor people are all on welfare?

Since we assume you walk the talk then you would be fine with boarding an airplane where no one checked I.D?

No it is not. But isn't requiring a photo ID to fly disenfranchising those poor souls who don't have an ID? Or does that only apply to v****g?

TSA does it on every flight ( not just delta) —— and has been for years.

No you cannot.
Section 8 and food stamps require it.

No they do not.

I did, till a year ago, some volunteer work at a rehab center. Get men to go online with the state, they would get SNAP card and unemployment based on a telephone interview...

No ID ever presented.

Now please go spout off about something else of which you know little.

Yer such a good caricature!

One more time, care to elaborate on your announcement that poor people are all on welfare?

Is flying a constitutional right and necessity?

Gun ownership is a right, yet the current administration is floating a yearly charge of hundreds of dollars for 'insurance' in addition to the registration fees, background checks, and strict rules about registration. Either Constitutional guarantees can be regulated with fees and verification or they cannot. The left and the right seem to suggest the rules depend on the 'right' in question. I'm consistent. Regulate both to assure only sane folks have guns and only legal v**ers v**e..... once..... for themselves....where they actually reside.

Just google--Things that require photo ID. You will be stunned, and may learn a few things, and get off your W***e s*******y high horse.

Putting the ID controversy aside, can anyone offer reasonable explanations for incorporating a prohibition on offering food or water to v**ers waiting in line for notoriously long times, which will likely become longer as a result of other v****g restrictions enacted? And just how does this deprivation make e******ns more secure (if you insist on denying this past e******n was indeed secure)?

Gun ownership is a right like v****g is. Why do we require I.D. to get a gun then?
