I can’t imagine all the disparity in opinions and results from the recent upgrades. I was a little disappointed when I first purchased Denoise a few months back and sharpen a little while ago. It took forever to save a finished photo. But with the recent revisions I’ve seen a dramatic increase in speed. Some photos would take 10-15 minutes to save. Now I haven’t had to wait more than a minute for any pic. Usually less than 30 seconds. I don’t have a super laptop. I3 processor. 16 RAM and a 1 TB SSD hard drive. Just my 2 cents worth.
Haven't downloaded the latest version of Denoise but did download the latest version of Topaz Sharpen and it is sloooow.
I just updated from 3.02 to 3.03. It runs just as fast as the previous version on my machine. They seemed to have changed the low light algorithm so it is now only effective in really low light. I much preferred the results of the 3.02 version for all three settings, Denoise AI, AI Clear, and Low Light. So far I'm really disappointed and may reinstall the 3.02 version.
Edit: I just reverted to 3.02 and I wasn't imagining it. I find the results in 3.02 far superior to 3.03. Cleaner, sharper results with less noise at the Auto settings. I'll wait for 3.04 before updating.

Just installed 3.0.3, and seems as fast as before. On a 24M pixel file doing the Denoise AI option, took 36 sec to run. I am using the GPU.

Not to start an argument because I really would like to know some answers since some are reporting less than acceptable and even poor results.
After updating to Topaz DeNoise AI v3.0.3 I am receiving better and faster results from even large Canon CR2/3 files using a CPU i7 6700K, with 16 GB RAM, running in "Auto", in other words, nothing special.
Are you letting the program run in "Auto"?
Did you adjust your "Preferences", under "File", "Performance/ AI Processor/ Allowed memory consumption (Low/Medium/High)"?
Please do not take offense, I am trying to help and solve this riddle.
Best Wishes,

My issue was not with speed of processing but with quality of output. I use Medium memory consumption and my graphics card GPU is being utilized. It only takes around 5 to 10 seconds to apply any of the denoising models to my images in either 3.02 or 3.03. The issue is that the quality of the denoising is noticeably poorer on my images in 3.03 than in 3.02. Ther lowlight feature was excellent and very useful in 3.02. In 3.03 I was distressed to find that it was no longer useful.
The standard for denoising raw files today is DXO PhotoLab's DeepPRIME NR. I was impressed that Denoise AI 3.02 came close to being as effective as DeepPRIME. However, my results for the same images using the 3.03 version were much noisier and were no longer even close to what I can get with DeepPRIME or what I was able to achieve in Topaz 3.02. I do my post processing in DXO PhotoLab 4 and use its DeepPRIME feature extensively. The reason I have a license for Topaz is because DeepPRIME only works on raw files.
By the way for Topaz Denoise AI processing speed is very significantly related to the GPU of the graphics card.

I am still using an older version of DeNoise. When I get the updates, my program stops working. I have been working with them for a few months, but they can't resolve it.
The tech says that it may be either my graphics card or simply an older computer. I don't know if I am missing anything with the upgrades, but I like the one that I have.
