Have any of you let your hair continue growing and stopped shaving since this pandemic hit? I realize "let your hair continue growing" isn't an accurate term, but you know what I mean. I haven't had a haircut since December 2019, and I stopped shaving about a month ago.
Yes until I got my vaccine injections. Long hair was a pain.Last haircut was March 1 , 2020.
No, but Imlay City is having a Sasquatch National beard contest. check it on line.
The top of my head is bald. I do let my beard & hair get a little wild at times & at one point probably looked homeless. I just take my beard trimmer, set it on a # 1 level , & buzz it rite off. With being bald on top , it is A much neater look. Even before the pandemic I would alternate between going to the Barber Shop & doing the job myself. Just did a buzz last night.
I stopped going to my local barber at the start of the pandemic. After a few months of looking pretty scruffy, I found an amateur willing to cut my hair. I have to keep reminding her about my appointment, she's often rather sarcastic to me, I have to clean up after the cut and I often have to bribe her with a foot massage or a gourmet home-cooked meal. On the other hand, she does the work for free, bakes a great pie and lets me sleep with her on a regular basis so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I've got more beard now than I ever have and it's about 2.5 months since
I've had a hair cut
I haven't had my hair cut in almost 10 years. I have it I'm not going to discourage it. I do trim my facial hair. The funny thing is walking around people believe I'm a biker or drug user. Very interesting because I am anything but. I was once standing in front of a shop in Camden Ohio. A fellow ran up and ask to borrow my phone. He explained him and his buddy got separated running from the law after their meth lab was busted. Needless to say I gave him my phone and restrained him for a block and a half walk to the police station. I'm 250lbs well trained and have a sense of humor. The police officer at the station rolled laughing. Camden is a very small half shady little town just south of Eaton Ohio. One of my best cases of mistaken identity. There have been many others but none as crazy.
My wife cuts my hair. I'm due for a haircut now......and a shave.

I just got a haircut about a month ago. I was hating the long hair. What a mess. But after I got my first vaccine I figured I might be ok to get a haircut. I was near the barber and thought I'd peek in and see how busy they were. There were 3 barbers, 2 customers, and one barber ready to go. So I popped in and got one before the crowd. Glad I did. But I won't be getting regular haircuts like before. Just every 2 or 3 months.

I stopped going to the barber when the price went up to $2.
I stopped shaving in grad school (late ‘60s).
My maternal grandfather made it possible to ignore the top of my head but I just got some scissors to do the beard myself.

I’ve had a full beard since right after I got out of the military in my 20s - it’s soooo much easier not shaving, although I do tidy it up once a week or so with electric clippers. I didn’t get a haircut from last April to a month or so ago after I had my second shot. If I could have held out long enough to have a decent pony tail, it would have been OK, but I just looked like a homeless person.

When I first grew a beard (‘50s) I thought it was just the absence of shaving. Due to the influence of the other gender (there were fewer then) I found that it was more trouble but less often.
I also thought it would keep my face warm. It would for a while, but eventually it would freeze up since I insisted on breathing.
My 87 year old father has not had a hair cut since January 2020 and had no plans of getting it cut. I've let both may hair and beard grow but have since had a haircut and shaved.....
