The recommended remote release should be listed in your manual under "Accessories."

I've used cheap remotes like this on all sorts of cameras. They can be adjusted for interval photography. I see below that it can be used with the D750.

Jeez - Nkon ML-L3 or various cheaper knock offs. You do need to enable it in the shooting Menu, and set duration in Timers / AE Lock. Works very well - small and handy.

And only need to be within 16 feet of the front of the camera. Need to be even closer from behind. Can't beat the price though.

I have several remotes for my canon camrras. Some need direct line of site some you can stand behind cameta,Bluetooth, some wired. I like the blue tooth soyou can stand behind camera

The inexpensive $18 Nikon ML-L3 will work; it uses infrared so has limited distance - 16 feet in front of camera but less when used behind camera.

I've used the Vello FreeWave Plus on my D500. It's true radio wireless (2.4 GHz) rather than infrared, so has a working distance of up to 320 feet. Has settings for delay, multi-exposure and long exposure. I've been very pleased. Current price $60 at B&H or Adorama.

Since I'm not as fast on my feet as in former days, and I'm not likely to be photographing myself, I can't think of a situation where I'd need to be 16' or even 6' from my camera. The remote mostly utilized with a tripod to avoid vibration.

I just use the $15 house brand wireless IR remote from Bestbuy.

It’s a reliable one trick pony.

I've used my camera using my telescope as the lens so often stand away. I might look into that release. I was at B&H yesterday bought Tameron 10-24 lens for my canon 77D
