... and the fields were inundated with Canada Geese. Quite chaotic. I tried with the Nikkor 70-300mm lens on the A7c, but quickly abandoned because the light was making it tough to focus without contrast. So for the geese, the first two shots were with the Sony, then switched to D5500, where the auto-focus was having issues with the low contrast. Eventually manually focusing, I started to even get a few BIF photos! Had to push the ISO to get reasonable shutter speeds. All pp in ON1.
Now that you had got rid of the Canadian Geese, just what you needed, eh?
A couple of days later, in better lighting, I found some more geese in a local pond. For whatever reason, I did not realise that I had +3EV dialled in, so I had to work hard in pp to get these looking better.
Someone once said "Check your gear before you start to shoot... chimping is allowed!"
Please feel free to critique and comment - I am not well-equipped for BIF, but we have to start somewhere...
Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibe. Have a great day.

A nice set with varied poses and venues. BIF against that overcast sky a real chore and you came home with the shots. Like #6 the best. Couldn't begin to count the number of times I've forgotten to cancel an exposure comp setting and had to deal with it later.

Tough conditions to overcome(internal😉 and external), nicely done! Glad you got out to shoot and thanks for sharing!! Keep them coming!

Nice set Ours, I would say #7 gets my top admiration!
Your overcame the hurdles you faced and ended up with a very nice series!
