Question to all the members, how much have your creativity changed since this virus started?. For example, some members started with micro photography, others went to the mountains for complete isolation, some went to the ocean just be really away from everyone.
I think it will be interesting to hear from the members. It will be nice to include pictures. This way your work can be display to everyone here.

Nothing really new as to types. But some things I have not been doing. As usual shooting flowers around my yard, indoor close ups of my sea shells, and even a few stops to photograph flowers around the neighborhood. Things I have not been doing. Pretty much have avoided people. Obviously only restaurant take out. Not that I would be photographing that anyway. The real bummer is we have moved to the Pismo Beach area in May but have not been to the Pacific Ocean even once yet even though we live less than a mile from the Beach. We know of many great location for photos from previous visits to the area in past years. There are natural areas and botanical gardens around too.

I've been outside the Chicago city limits just once now since December 2019, and that was just a half mile into the suburb of Evanston. My change has been exercising all my equipment, particularly lenses not associated with airshows and wildlife travel that are trips deferred to later in 2021, if even then.

I joined Facebook's Create 52 Photography Group. I've attached their 2021 weekly themes. Thanks to their 2020 list, I took many photos I might not have seen or considered - including refraction, eggs and "out of this world."

I will definitely be looking for the airshow pictures.

All three of these pictures are nice, but I find 1 to be unique. How did you accomplished this?.

I thought I'd exhausted the coast photo ops but since it's close to home I kept coming back and looking with fresh eyes which resulted in me finding new stuff.

It is not possible to exhaust coastal photo ops. Just as it is not possible to exhaust inland photo ops, either.

Indeed. What I was needing was the "fresh eyes".

Thanks! The pink color and the yellow "bubbles" are a separate file. I used layers in PS Elements to combine it with the photo of the glass and straw. Here is my thread showing the two original photos:

The white vertical lines in the glass are from light coming through vertical blinds on a sliding door.
