Same here... Nada! That legal Mary Jane is somthin' !!
Take a look at Affinty Photo, rivals Photoshop in ability and interface. It does not have a built in viewer like Photoshop's bridge. It only $50.00 one time, with lots of tutorials online.

Hello I am trying to find a good free editing softwares to edit my images. i cannot pay a subscription but i really need a good editing software for my computer. i have been editing my images on my phone. if you have a software please let me know thanks.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021. It's on sale for $70 right now (at B&H, probably elsewhere, too... normally $100).
If you also need to work with videos, Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 is currently on sale bundled with Photoshop Elements 2021, $100 for both (normally each is $100 bought separately, or the bundle is $150).
Just like it's "big brothers" (Photoshop and Lightroom), there's a lot of third party support for Elements... books, online tutorials, plug-ins, etc.

If you want something easy to learn that will probably do most of what you want to do, try Photoshop Express.

Gimp and Darktable are open source and no cost. The learning curves are far better than they used to be but are still steep. Pretty much anything that
PS has Gimp has. Actually using it can be interesting. If you have an IT background that will help a lot. Also remember that most (all?) of it was written as projects for various degree programs. The result is that it does the heavy lifting well, ease of use not so much.

Paint Shop Pro
I've just upgraded from PaintShop Pro 2019 to 2021 and glad to see they've made some progress in enhancing the program. I do a lot of enhancing and retouching old photos and was able to bring out a good bit of sharpness with their Digital Noise Remover with a correction blend of 70 and Sharpness set to 100. And this was after using Topaz Sharpen AI to give the sharpness a boost first. For their $39.95 upgrade price, it's a worthwhile tool to have in my arsenal along with Affinity Photo PhotoScape X, and occasionally Topaz JPEG to RAW AI.
